“I loved Hannah - She was effective at pulling productive convos/insight from the group. Her energy matched us in a lovely way.”

— 2025 workshop, King County Facilities Management Division

“A great introduction to the leadership series.

It felt like an opening where we could safely discuss our intention for joining and meet a few folks at Ecology.”

— 2026 leadership series, WA Department of Ecology

A tiny wooden pallet and three miniature drums of toxic waste with a plaque saying Hannah Aoyagi, Department of Ecology, HWTR Leadership Challenge 2019.

My workshops teach the importance of meaningful recognition and it was wonderful to see the impact in real time. Three supervisors from the Hazardous Waste Program put that learning into immediate practice, staying after hours to craft this pallet of “toxic waste.”
